Set in 23 acres of woodland, the 23-story Shilla Hotel has 465 guestrooms. Guests have access to a fitness center, two 25-meter (82-foot) swimming pools, a children’s pool, health spa, and an anti-aging clinic. The indoor golfing range offers further opportunity for recreation. A barbershop and a beauty salon are also on site. In addition to four specialty restaurants and a pastry shop and deli, there is a large bar with separate sections and a variety of ambiences. Guests may shop at the duty-free shop and at the arcade, comprising stores offering designer clothing, accessories, jewelry, and home and lifestyle products. A sculpture garden, featuring 40 sculptures by Korean contemporary artists, provides opportunities for relaxation and walking. |

The Shilla offers extensive conference/function rooms, meeting rooms, a business center with lounge and business services, and wired and wireless Internet access.
Business center: The center comprises three meeting rooms that can accommodate 6–12 people, a fully-equipped personal computer room, and the EFL Lounge. Services and equipment include office equipment hire, interpretation and translation services, copying, business card printing, faxing, typing, and secretarial services. Video conferencing facilities with high-speed ISDN access are also available. The EFL Lounge offers a quiet environment that is ideal for end-of-day work and meeting preparation. Here, a desk, TV, VCR, sofa, audio system, and Internet access are provided. Free two-hour usage per day of the EFL Meeting Room is also available. Tea, coffee, and soft drinks are served 24 hours. Guests have the use of a variety of periodicals, magazines, and books. Surcharges may apply.
Internet access: High-speed, dial-up, and wireless Internet access are available throughout the hotel. Surcharges of KRW5,000 (US$5–$10) for 10 minutes and KRW30,000 (US$30–$35) per hour are applicable. Fees subject to change without notice.
Conference/function rooms: Dynasty Hall, the grand ballroom, has a total area of 1,325 square meters (14,262 square feet), and can accommodate 700–1,200 people. It can also be partitioned into three smaller units. Sound equipment, a moving stage, computerized lighting, audiovisual equipment, interpretation booths, high-speed LAN, and wired and wireless Internet access are available. Dynasty Rooms I, II, and III have areas of 575 square meters (6,190 square feet), 400 square meters (4,305 square meters), and 350 square meters (3,768 square feet), respectively. 180–400 people may be accommodated.
Eight additional meeting rooms, ranging in size from 23 square meters (248 square feet) to 306 square meters (3,293 square feet) are available, and can accommodate 16–250 people. The Foyer and Secretarial Room on the third floor is suitable for registration purposes, receptions, and buffet services. The Secretarial Room offers space for copying machines, computers, telephones, and other conference-related services.
The Yeong Bin Gwan Garden, a two-story, Korean-style building that is a reproduction of a pre-15th century building from the Shilla Dynasty, offers three function areas and a garden. Two of the rooms are 220 square meters/2,368 square feet in size, and the third is 300 square metres/3,229 square feet. The 1,175-square-meter (12,648-square-foot) garden is also suitable for theme parties.

Further amenities include wired and wireless Internet access (surcharge), complimentary use of mobile phones that are linked to guestroom telephones (communication charges not included), and satellite TVs with premium channels including CNN International, BBC World, CNN FN, Star TV/Music (V), MBN, SBS Golf, and MGM. Bathroom amenities, such as hair dryers, bathrobes, and cotton swabs are found in the ensuite bathrooms with separate shower and tub.
